ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Nate

WHERE I COME FROM
When people ask me where I am from, I often say TAG. TAG is what rock climbers and cavers call this part of the country, where Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia come together. I was born in Huntsville, AL and raised in Chattooga County, GA. I have spent most of my life within about an hours drive from Monteagle.
WHAT I AM DOING
My wife Jessica and I moved to Monteagle in 2004. We raise sheep, goats, chickens and children on our small farm in town. Our two youngest children attend Monteagle Elementary while our oldest has moved on and attends Saint Andrews.
I currently manage the forest and hunting program at the University of the South.
As a volunteer, I am currently a den leader for the Tracy City Cub Scout troop, an assistant scoutmaster for the Sewanee Boy Scout Troop, and am the President of the Mountain Goat Trail Alliance in Monteagle.
MISSION STATEMENT
Working with others for a better Monteagle
Monteagle is a great place to live, raise a family, and start a business. That is what brought us here and why I am running for Alderman.
